Born in Sarasota Florida Sept. 18th. 1965 a 9th generation circus performer born to Swiss parents, whose accomplishments in the world of the circus and aerial thrills have astonished people all over the world , the family’s stage name was The Fabulous Fearless Bauers. Joseph began performing with the family in his early teen years performing such acts as The Incline Motorcycle on the Highwire, Skywalks on the Highwire, 90 Ft. Swaypoles, and The 50Ft. Wheel of Thrills.
In addition to the “thrill acts” the Bauer family was so noted for Joseph also began hosting and announcing the performances and shows their family produced. At one point even announcing from 60 Ft.above a showroom full of people while walking on a thin steel cable “the Highwire”. |

Joseph’s accomplishments as a daredevil are not all he is so well known for. His talents as a professional Ringmaster and Show and Event Host are just as reputable. One of his passions and talents is lighting and music he has had the good fortune throughout his career to have been involved with the creation processes of many of the shows and venues where he has performed and or hosted.
Joseph has of course had a tremendous amount of experience in rigging heavy equipment due to the types of acts he and his family have performed throughout the years in all types of settings and locations.

The 2004 Edition of the Tarzan Zerbini Shrine Circus on tour throughout Canada there he was performance director and ringmaster.
In 2004 His Wheel of Thrills Act was a featured presentation at the 25th Anniversary of the Montreal Jazz Festival produced by Cirque du Soleil ,( Soleil de Minuit), Place des Arts Montreal, Que.
